Breitling’s bold chronograph is back on the track, staying true to its racing roots. With graphic dials and retro cushion-case designs, the new Top Time Racing debut in three limited editions of 750 pieces each—two celebrating the thrill of rally and one created in partnership with motorsport legend Martini Racing.

Since the dawn of the automobile age, rally racing has represented freedom, adventure, teamwork, and the pursuit of speed. From the legendary Paris-Dakar to the Rallye Automobile de Monte-Carlo, rally’s century-plus of history mirrors Breitling’s own 140-year journey through shifting times and technologies. Top Time Racing celebrates this shared legacy, incorporating design elements from Breitling’s most dynamic chronographs. Among them, the “dashboard” dial design, pulled from the Top Time archives, adds a bold, retro touch. A contrasting tachymeter scale ensures precise speed measurements for rally stages, while the perforated calfskin strap, a nod to vintage racing gloves, enhances both style and function.
TOP TIME MARTINI RACING
Few names in motorsport are as iconic as Martini Racing. Known for its sleek racing stripes and high-octane performances, it has been a symbol of speed for over 50 years. The Top Time Martini Racing is instantly recognizable, with its vibrant light and dark blue and red stripes dominating the dial. The cushion-shaped case and “squircle” subdials evoke the era of classic race cars, while the graphic dashboard dial design, a signature Top Time motif, reflects vintage dashboards. Mushroom pushers provide smooth control over the chronograph function, while the contrasting tachymeter scale offers precise speed calculations, reinforcing its motorsport pedigree.
THE BREITLING MANUFACTURE CALIBER 01
Breitling’s renowned manufacture chronograph movement, the Caliber 01, is engineered and assembled at the Breitling Chronometrie. Designed for professional timekeeping, each movement is a COSC-certified chronometer with an approximate 70-hour power reserve off wrist. Its rigorous in-house testing simulates 16 years of wear—100,000 crown winds, 3,500,000 weight turns, 60,000 shocks at 500G, among other challenges. Built to endure, it comes backed by a five-year warranty.
