Historic details
PRODUCTION SPAN: 2004

The Navitimer Chrono-Matic ref. 41350 was a numbered Limited Edition of 1,000 pieces, manufactured in 2004 only. It celebrates the March 1969 launch of (one of) the world's first automatic chonograph calibers, the cal. 11 that Breitling had co-developed with Bueren, Heuer & Dubois Depraz. The Breitling cal. 41LC that powers this LE is again a Breitling-exclusive design, based on a modular automatic base movement and a Dubois Depraz chronograph module. The crown sits on the left, just like it did with the 1969 Chrono-Matic. The dial layout too is similar to the vintage Chrono-Matic, but lacks the hour counter. The date display sits at 6. Hands too are unique, much wider than on other models. Cases have the same tapered lugs of the "classic size" vintage Chrono-Matic. Crystals are convex sapphire glass, glareproofed on both sides.

The Navitimer Chrono-Matic LE have minute counter and "running seconds" in the traditional 3/9 layout, with a date display at 6. The chrono sweep hand has a lumed teardrop tip and a "script B" counterweight.

Navitimer Chrono-Matic LE come with glossy black based gilt dials and applied baton hour indexes. All have red accents on both dial and the "sloped" E6B slide rule. The logo is an applied golden "B".
