The Story

Breitling’s versatile Chronomat, in collaboration with British motorcycle brand Triumph. The Chronomat holds a significant place in Breitling’s history. Introduced in 1984, at a time where extra-thin quartz timepieces were the order of the day, Breitling placed a bold bet on an impressively proportioned mechanical watch. It celebrated Breitling’s centenary in style and marked the return of the mechanical chronograph to its rightfully prominent place at the brand which had built its global reputation on these incredible watches. As stunning to look at as it is exhilarating to wear, the Chronomat B01 42 Triumph comes in the highest specification ever with a titanium and 18 k red gold frame. You’ll find that premium quality echoed in Triumph’s matching Breitling limited-run Speed Triple RR bike. Only 270 of these modern roadsters will ever be made. Note the discreet Triumph shield logo on the watch’s central chronograph hand counterweight, the “Triumph Edition” engraving on the caseback, and the perforated calfskin leather strap, all mirroring the bike’s detailing.
