1. Water resistant up to 300 bar

Water resistance is key when deciding on a diver's watch. With Breitling watches, nothing stands in the way of your next thrill ride with a reliable chronometer on your wrist. Our robust case is made to withstand any type of pressure. Some models such as the Avenger Automatic 45 Seawolf are water resistant up to 300 bar, which corresponds to a water pressure of 3000 meters depth. Other models, such as the Superocean Heritage B01 Chronograph 44, are water resistant up to 20 bar or 200 meters. Choose the watch that matches your lifestyle best.

2. Functionality and easy handling

Breitling diving watches have a high level of water-resistance and also feature optimal readability and a unidirectional turnable bezel. Watches that are used in water must be particularly robust. Most of Breitling models include safety valves for pressure compensation, salt water resistance and cambered sapphire crystal to achieve an almost indestructible diving companion.

Diving can be risky and that’s why any adventurer should always have the right equipment. With a Breitling diver's watch, we guarantee just that: Reliability in the face of the greatest challenges. To ensure the greatest possible reliability, we recommend the seals to be replaced annually in the case of intensive use, otherwise every two years.

Whatever your watch requirements, Breitling diving watches will meet them all, since they start at 100 bar water resistance. In general, 1 bar corresponds to about 10 meters of pressure. However, you should bear in mind that the number of bars indicates what the watch is suitable for:

- 3 bar/30 meters: splashing

- 5 bar/50 meters: showers, swimming, surface water sports

- 10 bar/100 meters: water skiing, dives, snorkelling

- 30 bar/300 meters: diving
